Being an overly organized planner, it was no surprise that I recorded our wedding budget and expenses up to the last peso. And as someone who is passionate on telling the world, that yes, you can have a beautiful perfect wedding with a tight budget (aka 400k wedding FTW!), here is our attempt in helping other couples achieve their own dream budget wedding.

DIY Invites FTW! :)
Since it's just one more day to go before the BIG DAY. So now I'm at the liberty to post our invites. Love, hard work, inspiration (READ: Aweng and Thessa's DIYs and Thank you to Pinterest! :)) and a LOOOOOOT of patience was needed for us to finally have our final invitation.
We did everything from the layout to printing, cutting, putting the eyelets and of course sending out the invites. I'm sooooo proud of our work. :)

Just One More Day.
One more sleep then it's game time.
I don't really know if I feel excited, anxious, scared, stressed or just happy. It's such a mix of emotions, and I keep thinking of the things that still needs to be done. It's such a crazy crazy day.
I keep telling myself that just let go, whatever you can do, you will do.. and whatever else is not done, just leave it at that. I don't think any wedding has been cancelled because the couple did not finish boxing the guest souvenirs. haha.
So far so good though, no stress with our suppliers, except for one. But all the others really more than makes up for it. :) We've been blessed with getting good and uber friendly and cooperative suppliers, a family who loves us even if we (or I) would snap at them (it's the stress, I tell you.) and good friends who'll bend their schedules just to help us finish what needs to be done.
This has been a really really crazy ride. And even if I tell my single friends not to get married anymore because it's unnecessary stress (haha.), I know that after all this, it would be all worth it.
I can't wait for the preps to be over, and for our blissful marriage to start. :)

6 more days to go! :))
Sharing our Save-The-Date video made by my uber-talented sister, featuring of course, our own mascot, meet Bob the basset hound. (Or our engagement doggie as I like to call him, no rings for me. :))
Also sharing some still shots from shooting day:

Rain, Rain, Go Away...
It has been raining endlessly for two weeks now, though, I cannot say we're surprised since August is really the RAIN month. BUT! nobody really thought we'll be experiencing this MUCH rain in two weeks.
I have been thinking a lot about our wedding, mostly about the weather.. What if it rains? What if there's a typhoon? What if it's a super bagyo?! Hopefully not! I feel so selfish that I'm praying for a good weather BECAUSE of our wedding (and not for all the people out there who lost their homes, their possessions, some even their family). Hayy....
There was one photo though, that made the news which really brought me back to reality
This really made me rethink about why am I getting married in the first place?! In the end, it really doesn't matter if it's raining or not. It doesn't matter if our only guests is our immediate family and our priest. It doesn't even matter if it's just the two of us saying our vows in front of God. What matters is that our wedding will push through. Through rain or through shine. Nothing and no one can stop us (parang kanta lang. haha)
Itabi na ang mga tsinelas at mga payong. Bring it on Mother Nature! We're ready! :))

Changing HMUA.
Have posted before that our HMUA for our entourage will be Allen Gyan, but just today I received an email from her, saying she no longer can make it to our wedding since she'll be staying in Australia for one more month. She gave her personal reasons and I totally understand her side. (Reasons won't be posted, since it's not my story to tell.)
Anyway, the good thing is, she found a replacement for her before she emailed me. She already confirmed the other HMUA and everything is already finalized. Our new HMUA now is Kaye Misajon. :)
Kudos to Allen for handling the situation in a very professional way. I do wish her the best and to her family as well.
No stress at all. :)

19 days nalang?! WTF!
Holy Sh*t!!! 19 days to go and our list of things to do is still a mile long.
This is it. It's end game. And hopefully everything will turn out for the best in the end.
Konting tambling pa. AJA!

Reception checklist :)
We just got home from our meeting with our AE in Enderun, Iyette. We just love her! She's very accommodating and never pa kami nastress or nagworry with anything na reception supplier related. :)
Anyway, we finally paid half of our contract price, decided on table layouts, buffet tables, the kiosk, the final menu and a lot of small stuff.
I'm really glad we're moving along smoothly. We just need to go back in August to pay the remaining balance, and then we're done. :D

Malapit naaaa!!!
Barely a month to go till our wedding day!
We still have so much to do, pero carry pa naman as of today. hehe! There's only one supplier that's giving us a headache and that's our church. hay...
My inquiries are still pending until now, 10 days na.. kailangan araw araw ang follow up, parang nagauaudit lang ako. . nakaka loka si ate. tsk.
Hopefully before mag officially one month to go eh sumagot na si ate sa aming mga inquiries.. importante pamandin yun. hayyy..
O stress.. layuan mo ako.. :|

To Infinity and Beyond! :)
So, have mentioned before that my entourage will be using the Infinity dress, there's just so many plus points that this dress gives you:
1. It's definitely cheaper, with the cost ranging from 700 to 800Php
2. It's very versatile, if you want your entourage with different styles, then this is perfect.
3. They have a wide range of colors, good for any motif.
4. And the last one, you can still wear it after the wedding! Actually for me that's the best part, since the money that we'll be spending won't go to waste. :D

The Perfect Suit
Jam and I went back to Divisoria last Saturday to make his first fitting of his suit. We were really not expecting much, maybe a little adjustments here and there, and definitely not expecting that we'll be bringing his suit home with us then.
When he finally did his fitting, we were both surprised that the suit was a perfect fit. The pants were measured to the last inch, and it was the best fitted pants he had worn. EVER. Hehe!
And oh boy, did he look good. :)

58 Days and Counting!
58 more days to go!!!
I can't believe it's almost finally here. FINALLY!!
There's still a lot more to do though, and my energy is dwindling already.
I need to get back on the track, cause it seems to me, that Jam does all the planning nowadays (not that I don't mind.hehe)
Hopefully before the month ends, we'll be on ahead of our things to do once again.
Hopefully.
Move it Mingming. Move it.

Dresses, Dresses, Dresses and a Coat. (Our Divisoria Trip Part 3)
Went back to Divisoria today to finally get Jam's measurements for his Coat attire, since he already made a decision on what he's going to wear. Me on the other hand, went there to still look for that perfect dress.
We went around, even went to Tutuban mall this time, but found nothing nice there. Went to 168, went to all the boutiques there, since the displayed dresses have changed. I tried on 3 dresses and we had to pick which tops our list. Only have a pic of the first dress I tried on, since after that Jam's phone died on us. Darn.

On Drapes, Flowers and Being a Sponsor :)
Since shooting our engagement photos in Enderun last month, Jam and I we're bugged by the idea that our guests may sit and cook under the morning sun during our reception since the ceiling of Enderun has some glass panes.
We've been toying with the idea of putting drapes on the ceiling, but was hesitant since I didn't want the beautiful ceiling to be covered. Plus the fact that it was not included in our original budget. We first asked quotation from our original florist, Full Blooms, but surprise surprise, the quotation was WAY WAY WAAAAAAYYYYYY more than what we can afford, like 5 times more.

Praline Balls ... yum.yum.yum.
When we attended the wedding fair in SMX this year, we passed by this chocolate booth with a very funny and uber friendly owner. It was the first time I heard of Villa Del Conte (https://www.facebook.com/pages/Villa-Del-Conte/208401809195513?ref=ts) and in 5 minutes I was in love (with both the chocolate and the owner, Vince. hehe)
