Hindsight is Always 20/20

After four years of marriage, the memory of our almost perfect wedding day is still fresh on my mind like it just happened yesterday.. or maybe more of like last week. haha.

After relieving our special day for the 100000th time, there are moments when I look back and think about the things that we should have done or the things that would have made it better (though our budget wedding was awesome nonetheless). And for my sanity's sake, I listed them, and maybe I can finally move on after this. lol.

Just One More Day.

One more sleep then it's game time.

I don't really know if I feel excited, anxious, scared, stressed or just happy. It's such a mix of emotions, and I  keep thinking of the things that still needs to be done. It's such a crazy crazy day.

I keep telling myself that just let go, whatever you can do, you will do.. and whatever else is not done, just leave it at that. I don't think any wedding has been cancelled because the couple did not finish boxing the guest souvenirs. haha.

So far so good though, no stress with our suppliers, except for one. But all the others really more than makes up for it. :) We've been blessed with getting good and uber friendly and cooperative suppliers, a family who loves us even if we (or I) would snap at them (it's the stress, I tell you.) and good friends who'll bend their schedules just to help us finish what needs to be done.

This has been a really really crazy ride. And even if I tell my single friends not to get married anymore because it's unnecessary stress (haha.), I know that after all this, it would be all worth it.

I can't wait for the preps to be over, and for our blissful marriage to start. :)

More E-Session Photos

We finally got other pics from our "guest" photographer during our informal engagement shoot in Ayala Avenue. :)

Jesslee is a friend of a friend and he just so happens to be in Manila when we scheduled our e-session and decided to join our group, no fee of course. Here are some of his masterpiece. :)

6 more days to go! :))

Sharing our Save-The-Date video made by my uber-talented sister, featuring of course, our own mascot, meet Bob the basset hound. (Or our engagement doggie as I like to call him, no rings for me. :))

Also sharing some still shots from shooting day:

Malapit naaaa!!!

Barely a month to go till our wedding day!

We still have so much to do, pero carry pa naman as of today. hehe! There's only one supplier that's giving us a headache and that's our church. hay...

My inquiries are still pending until now, 10 days na.. kailangan araw araw ang follow up, parang nagauaudit lang ako. . nakaka loka si ate. tsk.

Hopefully before mag officially one month to go eh sumagot na si ate sa aming mga inquiries.. importante pamandin yun. hayyy..

O stress.. layuan mo ako.. :|

Oh I think this is it :)

3 months into full wedding planning, and I think I can say now, that the hardest part in planning is not researching or inquiring or asking for quotes from different suppliers. It's not even deciding whom to get. I think it's the part when you have to pay the down payment and sign the contract.

It's just so final. So binding. And you have this nagging thought at the back of your mind, what if we're making the wrong decision?

This is exactly why last Wedding fair, we managed to book only one supplier. LoL.

Based on our past decision, we have booked suppliers based on our blink decisions. Based on that feeling when you say, "Oh I think this is it!"..

11 Months and counting!

Wedding planning is definitely in full swing this year. We only have 11 months to plan, and the only thing that is checked on our list is the Wedding ring (Gasp!)

Thank goodness we'll be doing our first ocular today. Our destination : Enderun Colleges at Mckinley Hill. (Grabbed some photos from Mr. Google. Will post our own photos after our ocular today. :))

Based on blogs and wedding forums (I'm addicted to it, I admit.) Enderun is one of the few places in the city, that has really really good food (They are a culinary school, btw) and cheap packages. We love love love the pictures (Ang Gondoh!), and the package (They have breakfast menu!!! woot!) so hopefully, everything will go well today. And I do hope that this will be our first AND LAST ocular for our reception venue.

Will post again soon to share our first (and hopefully last) venue hunting experience. :))
