On photographs and videos. A review. :)

During our wedding preps, we were hell bent on following our original wedding budget. It was something that we really wanted to do because 1. We don't really want to spend too much on a single-day event 2. We don't really have that much money to begin with. Haha.

Anyhows, so we looked for cheap but really good suppliers, and we definitely found them in Imagine Nation Photography and Aisle 1401.

Main: Larry Leong
+1: Alex Ruelo
Cost: 15,000 (Raw photos only)
Rating: 5 stars!

Our original photographer was actually Shayla Sanchez, but when we needed to reschedule our wedding to an earlier date, we had some issues with her schedule (Our rescheduled date was her birthday :( ). Anyways, so we got Larry Leong instead, his portfolio were full of fun and wacky shots, although we didn't get to do  a lot of those during our wedding day (Don't really know why). We also got Alex Ruelo as our +1 photographer, and I think he was the best +1 photographer in the whole world. :) Alex was really an easy going and really funny guy, you can feel his passion in what he does and it also shows in his amazing photos. :)

There is only one thing that bugged me until this day, and that is we didn't have a family picture. (Groom has amazing fampics. And we don't. boohoo.) I really don't know what happened, I guess it we didn't have enough time during the preps since it's an early morning wedding and 3am is too early enough for our call time. hehe.

P.S. Larry left Imagine Nation and now has his own company (Larry Leong Photography), not sure on his rates, but yeah, I still follow him on Facebook, and his shots are just getting better and better. :)

P.P.S. I heard Alex was just promoted to master photographer! wooow! talk about being uber talented! Congratulations to Alex!! you deserve it for sure!

Video: Aisle 1401
Cost: 18,000

We found Aisle 1401 in Weddings@Work forum (heaven-sent talaga ang forum na to!), and based on their portfolio (which was very limited then kasi kakastart palang nila) we were convinced to get them as our video supplier. And this was really, I can proudly say, one of the best decisions that we made during our wedding preps. We never met Anna and the guys before the actual wedding day, since we couldn't find the time to do it (too bad), but on the day itself, everything went well. They were very nice and energetic even if our call time was at 3AM. One thing I won't forget was when drei (Tama ba?) gave his coat to us so we can sit on it, while shooting post ceremony at the grounds of Enderun. There was light rain during the ceremony so the grass was still wet. Haha. I actually sat on the grass na before he gave his coat so my gown already had grass stains, but he still took his coat off and laid it down on the ground. (You should have sent the dry cleaning bill to us! hehe!). Anyways, my love for Aisle 1401 blossomed even more when we finally saw the SDE. (We didn't get to show the SDE to the guests because we had big issues with the projector and our venue being so.... bright.hehe). Anyways, we had private viewing with our closest friends in his personal laptop, and what we saw was really really amazing. I can't thank them enough for the beautiful SDE, and I'm sure the highlights will be just as amazing (Will be getting them next week na! yehey!).

For that I voted them one of the top suppliers for W@W, and have been recommending them to my friends who are getting married (and even to those who aren't!). LOL.

More power to you guys! :))
