DIY Diva!

And I'm officially addicted!

If there is anything that I'm overly enjoying during our wedding preparation is my Do-it-yourself projects.

I honestly think I want to change careers. Like right now. LOL.

Anyway, after the invitation, save the dates, souvenir boxes, souvenir tags and stickers, my next baby is the flower hairpieces for my entourage.

Since their dresses are all going to be gray / silver, we decided to give it more umph by putting more color apart from the blue shoes and the bouquet.

Jam and I went to the fabric store yesterday and bought a yard of blue silky fabric. I was so sure that I can do the flowers myself that Jam didn't even bother arguing. LOL.

Anyway, spent a couple of hours today trying to do the first "blooms" if you will. And here are the results:

This is the a-flower-that-kinda-looks-like-peonies-but-not-really. LOL.
Sorry I lost the link to the tutorials on this one. It's not so bad realy, but now that I have it on my hands, it's not really what I imagined it to be. Hehe.

The second one looks more like a flower, though I'm still missing the bead that I need to put in the middle.
But not bad for the first try, right? :)

I love doing the flowers, and seriously thinking that I should do this for a living. Hmmm.....

Anyway, here are the link to the tutorials that I followed for the second flower. Enjoy! :)
