Praline Balls ... yum.yum.yum.

When we attended the wedding fair in SMX this year, we passed by this chocolate booth with a very funny and uber friendly owner. It was the first time I heard of Villa Del Conte (https://www.facebook.com/pages/Villa-Del-Conte/208401809195513?ref=ts) and in 5 minutes I was in love (with both the chocolate and the owner, Vince. hehe)

I was so sure that we were getting them for our principal sponsor gifts, but looking at the packaging, I was also so sure that it would cost us too much.. After the fair, Jam and I decided to pass by their store in Greenbelt 5 just to secretly check on how much the chocolates actually go for.. and of course I was right, it was wayyyy over our budget. darn.

I was so happy when I saw that they were offering 50% on a kilo of Praline balls via A-Deals website (http://www.a-deals.com/splash/) .. I immediately contacted the number posted on the details of the deal, but got a woman who said that she really don't know anything bout the deal and that she'll tell the secretary to call me back instead. That was friday night.

Saturday afternoon I got a call, from none other than the owner, Vince, he was asking if I was the one who called and what he can do to help me. The forever accommodating owner talked to me the details of the deal, and even offered to hold the chocolates until our wedding date (The deal is only until July 18, so I need to hold the chocolates for one month before we dispose of them. hehe) I think that was what made us decide to finally get the vouchers.

Jam and I computed the number of pieces that we will need (Vince mentioned that one kilo would be around 70 to 90 pcs), and then finally bought the vouchers. So there, Principal Sponsor gifts and surprise thank you gifts to those who helped us during the preparation, finally done!

Now I only need to make pretty boxes for the praline balls. :)
